Endorsement®: MassAIMH and MSPCC Partnership to Strengthen and Expand the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Workforce in Massachusetts.

What is MassAIMH Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health®?

MassAIMH Endorsement® is an international credential that provides recognition of specialized knowledge and expertise for professionals working with or on behalf of families with infants and young children (birth-6).

MassAIMH and Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) are proud to implement the Michigan Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement® System since 2019 across the Commonwealth. MassAIMH Endorsement® serves as one of the first and most comprehensive efforts in the country to define best practice and guide professional growth across disciplines and scopes of service in the field of infant and early childhood mental health. MassAIMH Endorsement® promotes culturally humble, relationship-focused practice and is supported nationally by the Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health.

The Endorsement® credential plays a pivotal role in advancing the crucial field of infant and early childhood mental health. It serves as a benchmark, ensuring that professionals possess the requisite knowledge, skills, and experiences to foster the healthy socio-emotional development and well-being of society’s youngest members.
